Diane Moore: My Journey of Faith, Creativity, and Encountering Jesus
Hi, I am Diane Moore—but around my house, I am lovingly known as Yaya. I am a wordsmith at heart, a lifelong follower of Jesus Christ, and a woman who has spent more than 20 years working in media and the arts. But behind every role I have played in life—whether as a media professional, theatrical director, or student of the Kingdom—there has been one constant: my pursuit of truth and deeper relationship with the living Lord Jesus.
From Media to Ministry: A Lifelong Passion for Creative Expression
My professional journey began in the world of media, where I explored various roles that allowed me to connect with people through creativity and communication. Over the years, I discovered that storytelling was more than just a passion—it was a calling. God used it as a tool to shape my path and open new doors I never expected.
That calling became clear when I stepped into a leadership role as Theatrical Director at the Present Truth Research Center, a division of Light of the City Ministries, under the powerful guidance of the late Pastor Peter Demetris. Pastor Peter was not just a spiritual leader—he was a visionary, a mentor, and a prolific author whose books like Deathfighter, The Secrets of the Hebrews, and The Book Within the Book had a profound impact on countless lives, including my own.
A Life-Altering Encounter with Jesus
It was during my time at the ministry that everything changed. I had an unexpected, deeply personal encounter with the living Lord Jesus Christ—an experience that completely transformed my understanding of who God is. It was not just a religious moment; it was a real, intimate awakening that shattered my old beliefs and ushered me into a deeper truth.
That divine encounter sparked a fire in me to share the reality of Jesus through the arts. I began writing and directing faith-based stage plays designed to awaken the hearts of audiences and draw them into the overwhelming love and grace of Christ. My mission became clear: to use Christian storytelling to help others experience the living presence of God.
Kingdom Living and Spiritual Growth
Today, Apostle Tommy Miller of Legacy Church spiritually covers me, founder of The Legacy Collective and Legacy Academy of Kingdom Living, where I am honored to be a second-year student. Apostle Tommy’s teachings on divine identity, oneness with God, and supernatural Kingdom living have taken my faith to new levels. His books—Deathless, Transfigured, and the recently released Unveiled—continue to inspire and equip me for this journey.
Being part of Legacy Academy has given me a fresh lens through which I see the Kingdom. I have come to understand that we are not separate from God, but fully one with Him through Christ. This revelation has changed how I live, how I create, and how I serve.
Why I Write: The Reality of the Risen Jesus
This blog, and everything I create, is an overflow of my ongoing relationship with Jesus. Church was the beginning—but there is so much more to be discovered beyond the pews. The love, grace, and truth found in Christ are deeper than anything I ever imagined. My greatest desire is to see others experience what I have: the real, tangible presence of the risen Jesus and the transformational power of His love.
